Shipping & Delivery (Australia)

How does shipping and delivery work in Australia?

Once you place an order, we carefully pack and ship your women’s caps within 24–48 hours from our Brisbane warehouse. Orders are sent via Australia Post and generally arrive within 3–9 business days depending on your location. You’ll receive tracking details by email once your order is dispatched.
Shipping only applies within Australia — we do not ship internationally at this time.

*Please note: We send via signature required post to ensure safe delivery - if you opt for ‘Authority To Leave’ yourself, we are not responsible for the package in the rare case it is missing or stolen.

**Please note: all shipping timeframes are from the advertised date of dispatch. Should your item have a pre-order date (advised next to the product name in brackets), this is the date of dispatch. The delivery timeframe starts from the pre-order date it ships on. If there’s no date next to the product name, you’re in luck - it’s ready to go!

How much does shipping cost in Australia?

  • Standard shipping Australia-wide is free on orders over $85.
  • If your order is under $85, standard shipping is $12.
  • Express shipping is available for $15.

Can I change my shipping address after I place an order?

Yes — if your order has not yet been shipped, we can update your shipping address. Email us at hello@capsociety.com.au with the new details and we’ll take care of it for you.

*Please note: We can only send your order to the address you provide on your order - if you have provided an incorrect address, and the package is delivered there, we are unable to retrieve it so please check your address carefully!

Do you ship outside of Australia?

We currently ship within Australia only.

What makes the Cap Society fit so special?

Our Cap Society signature fit is designed specifically for women’s heads — with a flattering mid-profile shape that sits comfortably (not too high or too low), a petite brim for balance, and an adjustable brass buckle for a custom fit. These design choices make our cotton dad caps both stylish and easy to wear all day.

What's the difference between washed and relaxed cotton?

Washed cotton has a softer, broken-in feel with a lightly textured look — perfect for a casual, lived-in vibe.

Relaxed cotton is smoother with a cleaner aesthetic and soft structure, ideal if you prefer a subtly elevated everyday look.


Both materials are lightweight, breathable, and designed for everyday wear.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk purchase discounts?

We currently sell exclusively through our online Australian store and do not offer wholesale or reseller discounts. For bulk personal purchases, please contact us here to discuss special arrangements.

Can I send a Cap Society cap as a gift?

Absolutely! Simply enter your recipient’s address at checkout. We don’t include pricing in the packaging, and the receipt is emailed to you — making it perfect for gifting.

Are Cap Society caps stocked in any stores?

No — our caps are only available through our online store within Australia. We currently do not supply to retail stores.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

We offer a 14-day trial period from the date you receive your order. If your cap isn’t quite right, you can start a return through the process outlined in our Returns Policy page. Some exclusions apply, which are noted on product pages.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

Return shipping is not covered by Cap Society. However, once we receive your returned item in original condition with tags attached, we’ll process your refund or exchange according to our policy.

*Please note: Not all items are eligible for return. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and / or at checkout.

How long does it take to process a return?

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll confirm your refund or store credit within 10 business days. After that, your bank or payment provider may take an additional 2-5 business days to post the refund.

Payment & Security

How secure is my payment?

Your privacy and security are our highest priority. We use Shopify Payments, which is highly secure and encrypted to protect your information.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as AfterPay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.

Do you offer payment plans like Afterpay or ZipPay?

At the moment, we currently offer Afterpay as our only buy now, pay later service.

How do I use a discount code?

At checkout, enter your discount code in the box provided and click Apply before finishing your purchase. Only one discount code can be used per order.

Why are your prices listed in AUD?

All pricing on the Cap Society website is listed inAustralian dollars (AUD) and applies to customers shopping in Australia.
